The Kobido Practitioner Training is a complete introduction to ancestral Japanese Kobido facial massage techniques, designed for anyone who wants to learn this method for professional or personal use. It is ideal for all practitioners who wish to work consciously with facial tissues and are seeking authentic, traditional techniques.
During this training, you will gain a strong foundation in Kobido, discovering essential hand movements and structured protocols. You will learn to perform a complete facial massage using traditional Kobido techniques, creating deep relaxation and visibly rejuvenated skin. The program combines theoretical content and hands-on practical workshops, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of this ancestral art.

Training scope:
The Kobido Practitioner Training is a five-day intensive program totaling 45 hours of hands-on practice.
This program combines intensive practical training with structured educational guidance, helping you build a strong foundation in traditional Japanese facial manual techniques.
You will learn:
Precise Kobido massage techniques and authentic manual movements
Correct posture, body mechanics, and ergonomics for safe practice
Essential anatomy and physiology (introduced through guided discussion)
6 structured learning protocols for working with clients

Objectives:
By the end of the course, you will be able to:
Perform a full Kobido session using authentic Japanese techniques
Achieve deep relaxation, circulation boost, and natural lifting through structured protocols
Apply 50+ core techniques with proper posture for safe, effective practice
Training Dates:
In-person training dates: April 11–15, 2026
Training hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch break)
Mandatory online meeting (5 hours): April 26, 2026
(Time will be scheduled according to participants’ time zones)
Final exam on Zoom: May 17, 2026 (evening hours, Warsaw time)
Training Location:
The training will take place at the Żoliborz Training Center, Plac Inwalidów 10, Warsaw. The venue stands out for its history, spacious interior, and plenty of natural light. There are tram and bus stops nearby, as well as many cafés and restaurants.
Number of participants:
The minimum number of participants for the training is 3 and the maximum is 6, which ensures comfort, an individual approach, and a high quality of learning.
Trainer:
Monika Wieczorek – a physiotherapist with over 10 years of experience, former trainer at the French Takumi Finch Institute, specializing in authentic Kobido massage (currently Kyokute), and former assistant to Sandrine Finch during international training. She earned the Kobido Specialist certification in May 2022 after completing an eight-month training program (180 hours total). In August 2024, she completed an intensive five-month training course covering 182 hours, earning the official certification of Teacher in the art of Kobido and Kyokute.She is a graduate of postgraduate studies in Manual Therapy of Soft Tissues (2015) and numerous training courses in the field of aesthetic and therapeutic massages.
Qualifications:
Admission to the course is based on the following criteria:
Professional background (massage therapists, spa therapists, physiotherapists, osteopaths, beauticians, or individuals planning a career change)
Motivation and individual strengths
Openness to learning manual techniques
Willingness to grow and develop
Certification:
Participants who complete 100% of the in-person training hours, attend the mandatory 5-hour online practical session, and successfully pass the final exam will receive the Kobido – Ancestral Japanese Facelifting Practitioner Certificate.
Price and Payment:
The training price is 5250 PLN or 1250 EUR.
